It looks like the recovery log is gone... Do you know what happened? Roger says he doesn't.
From: Class 4/444K Dr Lloyd Marcus
This is Marcus.
Do you know what we've been searching for? Nothing.
There's no killer who killed SCP-444-KO-5. SCP-444-KO committed suicide. And I now know everything.
Until now we've been thinking that SCP-444-KO-5 killed -1~-4. But that's not the case.
They... killed each other. -2 killed -1, -4 killed -2, -3 killed -4. and -3... was killed by -5.
-5 killed only one in the first place. The thing that I know is that they sent a message to each other and made them gather at the sed, killing each other as they planned. But strangely this funny event happens. Can this be a coincidence?
We shouldn't have known about the murder. Ever since the Foundation discovered this, we've been fucked all along. The murder had to end right then and there, concealed forever.
Twenty-eight people died after the incident. Then three Class-4 personnel and 45 unlisted deaths occurred till yesterday.
You'd probably know by now. The murder started again. Why they kill each other over and over again? I don't know. Yesterday, two researchers who were besties with each other had a fight, and one of them died. I couldn't know if this a memetic effect or not, or if it makes a person insane. Well, I think it's more plausible that it's the former.
SCP-444-KO is the 'murder' that happened in the shed. Its effect stopped after SCP-444-KO-5, but it revived after we found it. But why would it stop after SCP-444-KO-5 died?
Yes, if you kill yourself the killing spree stops. That was the case of SCP-444-KO-5. However, no other instances show that anomaly. Yes, if you kill yourself you become like -5, trapped forever in a corpse, turned into another anomalous object, feeling the pain you felt when you killed yourself, forever. If you hang yourself, you live forever hanged. Can you imagine how painful that can be?
Who can kill themself now? I know now. You'd probably know by now as well.
The murder itself is humiliating us. It's saying "The murderer? Try catching that murderer that doesn't even exist!". And we've been running around in circles. We die either way. What if we die of old age? I don't know, neither do I know if we can survive until then.
We will never disclose this information to the unaffected. If we did, they will make us take our own lives. We're safe on our own. We've even brought the reporting personnel in as well. That document is the safest one, which even the O5s cannot see. Though, I can't edit that document. The editor was redundantly loyal to the Foundation, claiming it's his authority to edit. I did not disclose him of this information.
I've spread this info via message to some of the personnel including you. Well, except for the editor.
However... this will not end even if you know this. Now... you're going to die, we're going to die, and there is going to be no one left. And then the Foundation will end up with no clues since the infohazards prevents them from looking into the documents. Hmm... I have one more thing to tell you. I know we're going to die, but you got to know what you got to, don't you?
Someone was keeping a record of the dead all by themself. I can't see because of the password, but you may figure it out. There's one more thing. While I was studying this SCP, I found out the 'worst choice possible'.
DO NOT UNTIE -5'S NOOSE AGAIN. It stopped like it is now at first, but if you untie it agaiiiiiiiiiiiii-
